Details

There are oil passages drilled from main oil gallery to each lifter gallery. Oil hole in valve lifter is indexed to lifter oil gallery and oil flows into lifter. Oil from lifter is metered through disc metering valve and flows up hollow push rod. Drilled hole in push rod is indexed to hole in rocker arm and oil lubricates the upper valve train and bearings. Excess oil is returned to oil pan through drain back holes at each end of cylinder head and block.
