Fig 1: Viewing Front Bumper Fascia Fasteners Courtesy of GENERAL MOTORS CORP. Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement . Remove the upper center pal/speed nut (1) from the energy absorber. Remove the push-in retainers (2) from the energy absorber. Remove the energy absorber from the front bumper fascia.
