TSB : Delayed Frictional Connection In Drive Position "D"

Transmission and Drivetrain

Details

Delayed Frictional Connection In Drive Position "D" (engagement period is more than 2-3 seconds) Cause/remedy: 1. Correct play in brake band B2 and check T-moulded ring of brake band piston B2. 2. Drill Out hole (14) in small intermediate plate 1.1 mm. Note: Engagement process is therefore less refined, especially during rapid change from "D" to "R".
