With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING . Remove the transaxle. For additional information, refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION - 6F50/6F55 . Remove the 8 bolts and the flexplate.
