Certain guidelines must be observed when submitting warranty claims under brake squeal repair. When claimed under warranty, procedures for brake squeal repair should be applied only during the early life of a vehicle or to address an ongoing customer complaint on an older vehicle that is still within the term of the expressed warranty. An ongoing complaint would be evidenced by records of customer complaints in-the vehicle service history. However, while the latest materials should always be used when installing new brake pads due to normal wear, LRNA WILL NOT accept warranty claims for the replacement of worn brake pads.
