Intake Camshaft Sprocket Bolt First Pass 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.) Final Pass 100 degrees Exhaust Manifold Bolt - 3 Times in Sequence 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.) Cylinder Head Surface Flatness - Block Deck 0.08 mm (0.003 inch) Surface Flatness - Exhaust Manifold Deck 0.08 mm (0.003 inch) Surface Flatness - Intake Manifold Deck 0.08 mm (0.003 inch) Cylinder Head Bolt Notice: This component uses torque-to-yield bolts. When servicing this component do not reuse the bolts, New torque-to-yield bolts must be installed. Reusing used torque-to-yield bolts will not provide proper bolt torque and clamp load. Failure to install NEW torque-to-yield bolts may lead to engine damage. Cylinder Head Bolt - 10 First Pass 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.) Final Pass 155 degrees Cylinder Head End Bolts - 2 Short First Pass 7 Nm (62 inch lbs.) Final Pass 60 degrees Cylinder Head End Bolts - 1 Long First Pass 7 Nm (62 inch lbs.) Final Pass 120 degrees Intake Manifold Bolt 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.) Camshaft Cap Bolt Install the camshaft caps according to the identification marks. Install the camshaft cap bolts. Tighten the bolts evenly in order to compress the valve springs before final torque. Camshaft Cap Bolt 12 Nm (106 inch lbs.)
