This bulletin contains information regarding a revised transfer case front output shaft seal, P/N 12474947. This new seal replaces P/N 12547656 on the above listed vehicles. The change in the seal required a change in the tool used to install the revised seal from J 35870 to J 43484. Kent-Moore shipped J 43484 essential to dealers in September, 1999. NOTE: Due to the increased pressure needed to properly install the new seal in the transfer case, always use J 43484 with universal driver handle J 8092.
